The Best Folding Scooter for Small Apartments & Tight Spaces

Short on storage? The Journey Lite is one of the best mobility scooters for small apartments, condos, and compact homes. It folds flat in seconds — no garage or spare room required — so it tucks neatly into a closet, entryway, or beside a sofa, and slips through standard doorways and tight hallways with ease. Built from lightweight aluminum you can lift and reposition without help, it fits the way apartment and condo living actually works.

That same fold-and-go design makes it a favorite travel scooter for 2026: it drops into most car trunks and is easy to bring along on trips, cruises, and visits to family. With a 330 lb capacity and up to 25.91 miles of range, you get full-size capability in a footprint small enough to live almost anywhere.
